A Little Bamboo on this clutch would have gone a long way!

When I think of bamboo I think of the islands. I think of margarita's with little umbrellas and mellow Caribbean music. The Vivre clutch made of bamboo is not what comes to mind. I wish this clutch were flat and wider then I could right a review on its many uses. For instance, it could be used as a kitschy place mat or something pretty to put under plants. Hail to Madonna in Dolce & Gabbana!

Madonna looked FANTABULOUS at the Oscars in this body hugging black Dolce & Gabbanna gown. I particularly liked the slit that accentuated her well toned legs. Madonna has an amazing body and I have yet to see her look 'bad' in anything. This particular dress has a self confidence all its own. Although, I am not feeling her hair-do. Giuseppe Zanotti 'Flat Out' Hot Ballerina shoes!

Luckily, I don't have to be a ballerina to completely begin a collection of ballerina flats. These ballerina flats are cute bordering on sexy. I have written about the great metallic bags of this season. Now, I will focus on the shoes. I start my quest with these deliciously comfortable Giuseppe Zanotti Ballerina flats. I must confess I have recently become a ballerina flat wearing south beach babe. They are a great alternative to high heels or flip-flops. 'Empire dresses Strike Back' at the Oscars with these HORRIBLE DRESSES!

I never got the memo that 'Empire Waist' dresses were HOT! The stylists for Jennifer Lopez and Naomi Watts need to be slapped. Empire waist dresses only really work on pregnant women. The huge rhinestones on Jennifers dress are an atrocity to all things bejeweled. The only other comment I would make about Naomis dress is that if it had to be an empire dress because she is pregnant. Why did they have to pick the color lemon sherbert?

I'm sad to say that I didn't have a favorite dress this year.

'Oscar' After Party outfit South Beach Style!

In my imaginary world, with my limitless bank account, I have created an outfit that I would wear to a 'South Beach' Oscar after party. Juicy Couture Bowler Bag in Palm Beach White!

When I think of Palm Beach i think of bleached blonde hair, frosty pink lipstick and a fake tan. This also holds true for my thoughts on Fort Lauderdale, Boca and Tampa. This Juicy Couture Bowler bag comes in several colors. The color that I think really makes this bag sparkle is "Palm Beach White" which is the most perfect shade of off white I have seen on a bag in a while. The bag in the Palm Beach White color does not conjur up images of tackiness, but of fun, class and ease. I don't have to think about where to put my PDA or lipgloss as the bag has exterior side utility pockets that are perfect for easy access. The elegant aged metal hardware against the supple grained leather gives the bag a somewhat relaxed look. I like it when designers think about us and give us fashion and function. I have had the pleasure of looking at this gorgeous little number in person. I assure you the stock photos do not do the bag justice. I like this bag! It's a simple knock em' around canvas tote with a whimsical twist. A Funky little laptop case

In my hunt for all that is cool and funky I came across this cute laptop case at the Aldo store. I am also in need of a laptop case with 'umph'. The design of this laptop case are pink skulls surrounded by flowers. Some would say the idea of making skulls fashionable is gross. I kinda like the whole skull and crossbones fashion statement. I must admit I am surprised that the trend out lasted 'Hello Kitty'. There has been a significant decline in the number of girls and soccer moms I have seen out and about rocking the little 'putty cat'. Come to think of it the last sighting was a girl at the market wearing a cameo 'Hello Kitty' hair pin with a poor little kitty wearing a bright pink bow and crossbones. I guess the folks over at 'Hello Kitty' figured if you can't beat them join them! HA!

Apparently, the store owner of a beauty supply store didn't think that was reasonable. So, he banged on the bathroom door for Miss Foxy to get out. After expressing her displeasure with the store owner Miss Brown was apprehended in the parking lot by Miami's finest. For those of you interested in all the gory details you can read the article. We would love to know what handbag The Fox is wearing?

Amanda Bynes rocks! Love all her movies. Here she is sporting a Gucci 'Grace' large shoulder bag. I must admit I wasn't a fan of the nautical look but I like the way Amanda rocked this bag out with a cool pair of jeans and her rocker aviator shades. I'm not really diggin the burberry scarf, though. The Gucci bag and Burberry scarf together look too busy for my taste. Sorry, Mandy! I wonder who she was talking to on her cellphone.
